Consulting
Statistical consultation within the Duke Social Sciences community is a non-centralized collection of individuals and groups located within various departments, institutes and libraries. DSC has staff to assist researchers with their data management and analysis questions in the following areas:
- Statistical Consulting - Modeling
- Statistical Programming: Stata, SAS, SPSS, R
- Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Consulting
- Relational Database Services: MS Access, MySQL, MS SQL
- Consulting on Survey Design
We also act as a portal to other statistical resources when the question is outside our areas of expertise. Hopefully we can direct your request to people with the appropriate knowledge. Here is a list of additional resources we might direct you towards if we can’t help you ourselves:

- Duke University | Libraries | Data and GIS Services: http://library.duke.edu/data
